Planting trees in North Korea
Part of this years LOAF Project went to supporting the Salvation Army of South Korea planting trees in North Korea.

Each £5 raised will plant and nurture a tree to maturity.
We also started a disasters fund
and were able to send out a
cheque for £1000 to help with
the relief work in Haiti.
“I would like to pass on a huge
thank you to all those who
have raised funds for CBM's
Haiti emergency appeal.
CBM, the overseas disability charity, is working in Haiti to help
rehabilitate the thousands of people with disabilities. CBM's UK HQ is in Oakington, Cambridge.
CBM's Emergency Team in Haiti is providing essential rehabilitation to those who have received crush and limb injuries or amputations as a result of the quake, or who were already disabled and are in need of support. The Centre d'Education Special that CBM UK supported was reduced to rubble during the earthquake on January 12, 2010. Sadly
there were two casualties amongst its staff.”
